Stewardship at Colonial
Colonial’s values have been remarkably consistent across our 75-plus years. We care for the needy. We share with our neighbors. We teach and learn. We sing, pray, and worship. We grieve together and we celebrate one another.
This has been a good year for celebrating, because Rev. Michael Vollbrecht has accepted our call to be our senior minister. Michael’s dynamic sermons and big new ideas about worship, social justice, and spreading the word about Colonial have already made their mark on our church family.
Our task now is to nurture and sustain the communities we’ve developed, looking ahead to new opportunities while keeping ourselves rooted in our history as a progressive, open-minded Christian community.
Keep an eye out for this year's narrative budget, which has more stories about Colonial people making meaning for themselves and our community.

Matching Gifts
If you're a first-time pledger, you can double your impact when you pledge before year-end. A group of generous Colonial donors has agreed to match new pledges up to $2,000. The match may not be available in coming years, so pledge now to unlock these matching dollars.
Centering Prayer
Colonial's centering prayer group is a powerful way that Colonial folks connect with one another. Centering Prayer is an ancient Christian tradition designed to bring people closer to God through silence and contemplation.
