Live & Learn About Gun Safety with Judy Sherry, founder of Grandparents for Gun Safety, SUNDAY, July 12, at 10:45 am, Social Hall. As our children grow, they spend more time in other people’s homes. Parents ask all kinds of questions to ensure their children stay safe during playdates, sleepovers, day trips and weekend getaways.

Today, when 6.7 million U.S. children—some, perhaps, our children’s friends—live in homes with access to an unlocked or unsupervised gun, we need to ASK one more question: "Is there an unlocked gun where my child plays?”  Every day, 8 kids are injured or killed in home shootings involving improperly stored or misused guns. Judy will discuss what we can do to keep kids safe in this era of open carry.
