Capital Campaign Committees


Eight teams guide the work of our capital campaign. Team participation is a short-term commitment that will end after the campaign. This is a great way to connect with the Colonial community! Interested in joining a team? Contact the church office and we’ll get you connected.

 

Leadership Teamled by Bill Sanderson, Marylee Battaglia


This group meets every two weeks on Sundays after church to provide the overall direction and feel of the campaign.  


Building & Finance Teamled by Jayne Quimby, Harry Morrison


This group will review the building needs and strategize the best ways to reach out to donors.


Prayer Teamled by Kelly Hansen, Aaron Roberts


Will ensure the entire campaign is covered in prayer and plan prayer activities for the next several weeks.


Children and Youth Teamled by Brook Carson


Will make sure that even the youngest members of the church are a part of the excitement. To prepare for the future, we need the ideas and vision of children and youth.


Events Team: led by Chad Leabo, Mary Penrose


Will organize informational dinners and a big celebration at the end. If you like planning parties, this group is for you.


Communications Teamled by Cindy and Bob Burgdorfer


From newsletters, to packets, to the website and social media, this team will share the message of the campaign.


Ambassadors: led by Martha Wofford, Marylee Battaglia


Will coordinate Sunday speakers and follow up on questions or prayer concerns. The ambassadors need friendly people willing to make phone calls who are good listeners.


Thank You Teamled by Elizabeth Uppman, Mickey Gehring, Stacey Algren


Will discuss appreciation gifts and write notes of thanks to donors.
