Children’s Activities Coordinator

Responsibilities include:
- Plan weekly Sunday School lessons and activities for kids preschool through 3rd grade using provided curriculum
- Set up the classroom Sunday mornings
- Teach Sunday School class each week
- Meet monthly with the Board of Christian Education chairperson to provide updates on Sunday School activities
Requirements include:
- Ability to work well with children, parents, and volunteers and church staff.
- Childcare experience with experience with children preschool through 3rd grade a plus
- Good communication skills
Schedule: 3-4 hours per week including Sundays with potential for additional hours at church events.
Pay: $22 per hour, approx. $400-500 per month.

Child Care Worker (Nursery Worker)

Provides attentive and timely care to children during scheduled Sunday morning church services.
Interfaces with parents/guardians regarding their children’s care needs.
Maintains a clean, child-friendly environment.
Is punctual to all assigned shifts.
Must be at least 16 years old.

Schedule: 2 – 3 per week on Sunday mornings.

Pay: $15 per hour

Youth Group Leader

Responsibilities include

Directs youth group program (grades 7-12) in cooperation with parents and other adult leaders.
Helps plan and encourages youth participation in yearly events in the life of the church.
Encourages youth visibility and participation among the congregation.
In coordination with the Senior Minister, helps schedule and coordinate the Middle School Confirmation program and the Our Whole Lives program.
Meets regularly with the Board of Christian Education and with the Senior Minister to help plan and provide updates on youth activities.
Ensures that youth activities follow Colonial's Safe Church policy.

Requirements include

Schedule: 5-10 hours per week including Sundays

Pay: $22 per hour
