Becoming a Member
In our tradition, joining the church matters. We have a special Member Sunday where the new members stand up in front of the congregation during worship and make a promise about their commitment to God and this faith community.
What Does Membership Mean?
When you join, you become a voting member of the church. Members vote on the leadership of the church, the yearly budget and even whether to call a new pastor. When you join, you make a covenant, or promise, to join a community. Whether it’s as a lay leader, teacher, board or committee member, there is always room for one more. The more you involve yourself in the community and life of the church, the more enriched your experience will be.
Contact the church office if you would like more information.
