God's Awesome Adventures

The curriculum for kindergarten through 6th grade is "Gather ’Round: Hearing and Sharing God’s Good News." It is co-published by Brethren Press, publishing house of the Church of the Brethren, and Mennonite Publishing Network, publishing ministry of Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada. Bretheren Press is known for their longtime commitment to peace, service, and Christian discipleship. Click here for information about Gather 'Round curriculum.

The children attend the worship in the sanctuary with their families until the Children's Conversation. Following the Children's Conversation, the children are greeted by their teachers at the back of the sanctuary and travel to the workshops. Parents pick up the children from the workshops at 11:15 a.m.

Junior High

Junior high and middle school students meet in the Northampton Room upstairs following the Children's Conversation. The morning includes group discussions about Christianity and how it relates in today's world as well as other activities. On the first Sunday of the month, they will worship together in a designated pew in the sanctuary. On these Sundays, the youth are encouraged to help as ushers and greeters. Junior High teacher is Paul O'Hanlon.
