We come from a variety of religious traditions. This diversity - as well as our common affirmations - strengthens us as a community of faith. We encourage a broad spectrum of theological thought, but we work, worship, and grow together as one congregation.

Open to critical thinkers and a free exchange of ideas

Colonial Church encourages critical thinking and supports each individual's personal journey of faith. We offer opportunities for involvement and growth to allow each member to make choices appropriate to his/her personal needs.

A place where the Bible is taken seriously, not literally

We find the Bible, when interpreted thoughtfully and prayerfully, a source of guidance in matters of faith and discipline.

At work in the world

We think our service is beyond our church walls. We reach out to others to offer our gifts and talents.

Our Covenant

We covenant with the Lord and with one another and do bind ourselves in the presence of God to walk together in Christian love. We seek to worship God in spirit and in truth and to love our neighbor as ourselves. With God's help, we will honor Colonial Church in our conduct, support its program and extend the influence of Christ throughout the world.
